What a great place...delicious food, excellent prices and great owners. I even got my 80-year-old neighbor to come there with me...she had never had Cuban food and was clueless, but loved it after she tried it. Delicioso!

We visited Cuban Island on 10/12 only to find it had moved to another location, Estella's new place is amazing! The new place is sharp, bright, and clean in every way, including the cleanest restrooms you'll find. As always, the food was absolutely perfect and delicious, looking forward to visiting the next time we're in Roanoke.
The best Cuban food that we have had since Key West a few years ago. The owner was charming and very helpful. We pass through Roanoke quite a lot and will patron this place again and again.

Excellent in every way! We're glad we found you! Attentive service, clean and pleasant atmosphere. They make you feel wanted rather than taking your patronage for granted. Their interaction with customers is comfortable and kind. And finally...the food is wonderful! I appreciate that the menus explain the foods.
The service and food is always incredible. The owner Estella is always so sweet and make sure your experience is great! I have eaten Cuban Restaurants all over and this one is top-notch

The food is absolutely delicious and it’s authentic Cuban food. The owners are very friendly and make you feel like family. The quality and quantity of food is perfect. The pricing is reasonable. The atmosphere is super relaxing. We come almost once a week from Lynchburg which is about an hour away. It’s worth the drive!
